Kickflip Magnetic Fidget
The Kickflip Magnetic Fidget (also called KickFlip Magnetic Skateboard Fidget or Magnetic Kickflip Deck) is a compact, 3D-printed fidget toy that mimics a miniature skateboard for finger tricks.
Core Design
• Two mini skateboard decks (fingerboards): Each deck is a small, detailed replica of a real skateboard with concave shape, beveled edges, and a textured “grip tape” top surface for better finger traction and sliding.
• Magnets: Each deck contains 8 strong neodymium magnets (typically 8x3mm) embedded inside. The magnets create powerful attraction, repulsion, snaps, and clicks as the decks interact.
• Storage crate: A small 3D-printed box or case to hold the two decks when not in use—adds to the skate-themed aesthetic.
The toy is pocket-sized, durable (usually printed in PLA or similar filament), and designed as an everyday carry (EDC) item for stress relief, focus, or casual play.
How It Works and Playstyle
You manipulate the two magnetic decks with your fingers to perform flips, spins, slides, shuvits, ollies, and other mini skate tricks. The magnets provide satisfying haptic feedback and audible clicks when they connect or flip into alignment. It has a learning curve—basic moves involve sliding one deck along the other, flicking edges to initiate rotations, and catching them magnetically.
Advanced users invent their own tricks. The concave shape and grip texture help with control, making it feel like a real (but tiny) fingerboard session. Many describe it as highly addictive once you get the flow.
